Risks
- The Adam and Eve plant produces insoluble calcium oxalates that can irritate the mouth of dogs when consumed. As a result, adverse effects such as hypersalivation, swollen mouth and tongue, and difficulty in swallowing may occur.
- Ingesting the Adam and Eve plant in large amounts can cause dogs to experience convulsions, renal failure, and coma.
