- The fruit and leaves of the weeping fig tree contain two toxins: ficin and ficusin. Eating any part of the plant can cause dogs to experience vomiting, mouth irritation, and excessive drooling.
- Contact with the weeping fig tree may lead to dermatitis, a skin irritation.
