Risks
- The water oak’s leaves and fruits contain poisonous compounds such as gallotannins, quercitrin, and quercetin. Ingesting these parts puts dogs at risk of vomiting and diarrhea.
- In large doses, the water oak can potentially induce liver and/or kidney damage in dogs.
