- Wall germander is reportedly linked to liver damage and hepatitis in humans who use the plant as herbal and dietary supplements. Although animal studies have shown toxicity, it's not clear if wall germander has the same effects on dogs. Due to the potential risk, wall germander should not be ingested by dogs.
