- Several parts of Solomon's seal are toxic to dogs, including its flowers, leaves, and berries. These contain saponins and calcium oxalates, which can cause digestive issues and cardiac problems.
- The most common clinical signs of Solomon's seal poisoning in dogs include vomiting and hypersalivation. In some cases, diarrhea, stomach pain, tremors, and convulsions may also occur.
