- The toxins found in the morning-noon-and-night, namely brunfelsamidine, hopeanine, and scopoletin, negatively impact the stomach, heart, and nervous systems of dogs.
- If consumed, the morning-noon-and-night plant can cause symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and depression. Severe poisoning may result in convulsions, seizures, and kidney failure.
