Risks
- All parts of the golden chain tree, including the roots, seed pods, and petals, are toxic to dogs. They contain lupine alkaloids with nicotine-like properties, which can result in symptoms such as stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea.
- If golden chain tree poisoning is not addressed promptly, more severe symptoms may occur, including agitation, dilated pupils, convulsions, and coma.
