- All parts of the cherry laurel, including the seeds and leaves, contain toxic cyanogenic glycosides. Ingesting any part of this plant can interfere with the skeletal and nerve functions of dogs.
- Dogs that have ingested cherry laurel may exhibit symptoms of toxicity, such as agitation, breathing difficulties, dilated pupils, and tremors. In severe cases, convulsions, heart arrhythmia, and collapse may occur.
